Dear Sir,
Please be advised that If I was given more media coverage in the local Qatari Arabic press or Qatar Radio and T.V , I could have influenced my Qatari people of the importance to support public dialogue about the situation in the middle east and help bridge the gap between Israelis and Palestinians.
I could have more power to reach out to Arabs to change the mind sets for better understanding and a peaceful future for all people in the Middle East.
Here in Qatar, everybody is talking about press freedom, but in real life, copies of my letters are being sent everyday to all Newspapers but are not being published.
Printing and publishing department had refused to give me the permit to print my book “Hassan Aljefairi’s diary”.
I could have written that not all problems can be solved through war and violence.
In the Arab world, we need plans to support liberals like Hassan Aljefairi to empower women and promote quality education among children.
