MINISTRY OF JUSTICE.

REF: 0024 20.08.09

TO,
MINISTRY OF JUSTICE.

DEAR SIR,
Gulf Air board members accused me of interfering in none of my business when I insisted on quality of education in order to graduate Qataris that are qualified enough to meet the requirements of the Airlines Industry in Qatar.
I said that unless the quality of education improved, then the main challenge will be how to provide Jobs to young population who are given poor English, maths and science. This means that Qatar Government will have to provide housing and opportunities to young men who are unable to do the Job, especially in the private sector.
I also threatened the Qatari Government officials that unless they open up the Qatari society, then Qatar will not be able to diversify its economy and build a future tourism industry. I insisted that there is a need for modernity or otherwise Qatar will depend only on Oil for generating revenue.
They accused me of putting my nose in politics and they were able to unite themselves against me and terminate my services with Gulf Air. I therefore lost my end of service bonus, privileges, claims, allowances and salaries. They were able to terminate my services for free.

YOURS FAITHFULLY,

HASSAN IBRAHIM ALMULLA ALJEFAIRI,
Ex. Manager Gulf Air, Qatar.
