TO,
THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH
Dear Sir,
I suggest that you arrange to cancel all flights to Saudi Arabia during Ramadan to minimize the spread of swine flue. I also suggest that Qatari pilgrims currently on pilgrimages in Saudi Arabia should be brought back to Doha before the start of Ramadan. Also restrictions must be introduced on pilgrimages during the main pilgrimage season, the hajj which this year is expected to begin on November 19.
A string of Muslim countries around the world have announced restrictions amid fears about the risk of spread of swine flu if large numbers catch it there and return home with it.
The faithful can also make umrah throughout the year and numbers should be reduced during the period of swine flu.
Yours Faithfully,
HASSAN I ALMULLA ALJEFAIRI,
QATARI ACTIVIST,
