TO,
THE MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT.
Dear Sir,
Please be advised that ex board members of Gulf Air did not want me to continue working as Area Manager of Gulf Air in Qatar, especially when I said that civilized countries should ban those Airlines who do not reduce their impact on the environment. I said to them that percentage of pollution from aircraft emissions can be reduced by imposing taxes and penalties on aero planes that fly with a load factor less than 70%. This means that no more commercial or private wide bodied aircrafts can depart GCC airports with five or six passengers with out paying penalties.
Board members accused me of being a trouble maker and take the environment as an excuse to fabricate stories. I said that if that was the case, then why did I ask students of Qatar University to use four cylinders cars? Because a small car is designed for a single use, and large car is manufactured for family use. They accused me of exceeding my limits and wished that I would have left Gulf Air very soon.
Yours Faithfully,
HASSAN I ALMULLA ALJEFAIRI,
EX.MANAGER OF GULF AIR,
QATAR.
