THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH

TO,

THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH

Dear Sir,

I suggest that you arrange to cancel all flights to Saudi Arabia during Ramadan to minimize the spread of swine flue. I also suggest that Qatari pilgrims currently on pilgrimages in Saudi Arabia should be brought back to Doha before the start of Ramadan. Also restrictions must be introduced on pilgrimages during the main pilgrimage season, the hajj which this year is expected to begin on November 19.
A string of Muslim countries around the world have announced restrictions amid fears about the risk of spread of swine flu if large numbers catch it there and return home with it.
The faithful can also make umrah throughout the year and numbers should be reduced during the period of swine flu.

Yours Faithfully,

Dear Sir,

I was told that girls are not being encouraged to play sports at Arabic Government schools. I did my best talking and writing to make it a must that girls should learn sports at schools and that markings and grades are given to the girls in order to pass. But despite of a letter circulated to all girls schools, but still I hear that sports are not taken seriously. They say that some sports teachers will sometimes ask the girls to remain at the classroom or walk around at the school or otherwise a teacher of another subject will teach the children instead of the sports teacher.
I heard that federations do not care, and instead, they will buy foreigners to represent Qatar. That is causing our girls to become overweight and diabetic, with ammonia and lacking Vitamin D.
It is Hassan Aljefairi’s goal to empower Qatari women, but he could not achieve that because the media and the press do not give him the coverage that he needs to make a change.

THE MINISTRY OF BUSINESS AND TRADE

Dear Sir,

Now we need a decree to be issued for setting up a Qatari shareholding company to manage Doha International Airport. That is to separate Doha International Airport from Qatar Airways. I am as a Qatari citizen, disagree that Doha Airport should operate under the umbrella of Qatar Airways. This could lead to a situation that Qatar Airways might generate revenue from Doha Airport operations and use it to cover any losses that could occur from some of its losing routes.
The capital of Doha International Airport is based on big assets that belongs to the Qatari people and should not be taken easily by Qatar Airways. In so many seminars and conferences, I insisted that a balance sheet of Qatar Airways to be separated from Doha Airport’s. That will show us if Qatar Airways make good profit or not. A lot of Qatari people do not know what’s going on, but since longtime, I appointed myself to defend the people that I love.

THE MINISTRY OF CULTURE ARTS AND HERITAGE -4668777

THE MINISTRY OF CULTURE ARTS AND HERITAGE -4668777

Dear Sir,

The media and the Press in Qatar are trying to isolate me being liberal while giving more support and space to some radicals and fanatics who use Islam to gain popularity and power, especially those who are trying to split any Muslim country in to a sectarian situation and tear it apart. Such persons would support any terrorists to place bombs outside mosques. They are also targeting not only faithful but also children, women and elderly people. They target markets, buildings or mosques to start a war, violence and hate.
If I am given a media support, I could have persuaded people to unite and that peace is important in Hassan’s history, trying to move the Muslim world to liberated democratic rule through his non-violence. I have enough courage, determination and strong leadership that can inspire Qataris. I want to be beloved by my own Qatari nation and admired by our youth for my mission of peace during my service as an activist.

Yours Faithfully,

Hassan Al Jefairi حسن الجفيري

Hassan Ibrahim Al-Mulla Al Jefairi, a Qatari Writer. Hassan is one of the very few people in Qatar that are truly Reformers in the middle this sea that is full of conservative sharks. Hassan’s thoughts are highly admired by the youth for they speak our name. For he is in favour of united uniforms in school instead of national uniforms. For he is in favour of teaching music, arts and theater. For he is in favour for the students’ imagination to reach the skies.
Still, he is fighting for these changes to happen and all he gets is being called names such as trouble-maker. And that is why we should take him as our role model, and take him as the ambassador of the future.

He believes in us, the youth, in times where we don’t even believe in ourselves.

Quote from Hassan Al-Jefairi:

” We see the west a place to hang our dirty laundry on. If we want to rise above with our streets, schools, roads, and hospitals, would the west stop us? We do tennis tournaments in Berlin, so why don’t we do the maintenance of our schools that are most likely to fall down? “
